WCS is here for all to discuss, share, and communicate information to obtain our Vision. It is also a great resource to share trail conditions and meet new friends, family and future friends.
Posts that are "bashing" or "inappropriate" in any nature, or harassing other members will NOT be tolerated. Posts or threads that are obvious attacks on other members or are blatant attempts to stir controversy on this site, will be deleted and an appropriate action will be taken. We will NOT tolerate abusive and or immature actions.
Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message.
The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this bulletin board. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.
Examples of abusive actions or items include unlawful, threatening, abusive, obscene, vulgar, pornographic photos (including signatures and avatars), profane, political, or indecent posts or threats of any kind.
Do not place advertisements to a business in signature lines or in posts unless you are a sponsor for the site. We also prohibit link(s) to external spamming agencies/websites.
Do not knowingly post any information, software, or other material which violates or infringes upon copyrights, trademarks, etc.
Members will be warned for making posts that do not adhere to the community guidelines. Members that refuse to adhere to site guidelines will be removed from the site.
Duplicate accounts (members having more than one account) are prohibited & may result in suspension of posting privileges & possible banning of user accounts.
Westcoastsledders.com administration also reserves the right to revoke posting rights to members that "abuse" member privileges in any way.
We aren't here to be big brother, thought police etc. but we do have a certain obligation and duty to "moderate" the site. Although we don't want to and rarely do edit or pull posts, sometimes it is necessary. While we are VERY cautious about what and when we edit or pull something, we understand that we won't be able to please everyone, all of the time. Rest assured that unless a topic is EXTREMELY & blatantly breaking our T&C's, it won't be pulled until consulted on by more than one moderator if not all of them when ever possible. This site is here for ALL to enjoy and so in keeping with that just use common sense when posting and we'll use common sense when moderating
